I guess my next batch will be in Mr Beer

I was given a Mr Beer kit for Xmas by a friend. I'll give it a try for a small batch. Otherwise I don't know what I'll use it for, maybe an occasional lager batch since it'll fit in the fridge. I haven't even looked closely at it yet.

The strange thing is these friends know I do homebrewing so why would they think to buy me a beginners homebrew kit? It says on the box "everything you need is inside" but I couldn't find the ingredients. The can of malt/hops is so small you don't see it hidden under the cardboard.

lol Someone said they were going to get it for me so I wouldnt need to much equipment. I laughed and never got it. Phew.

I've lagered in the Mr. Beer and done a few small ales in it. It's a fine fermenter for half batches. I just rack out of it to a bottling bucket and bottle from there.

I found myself searching for a Mr. Beer fermenter a couple of weeks ago. It would be perfect to ferment half batches in. At least it wouldn't go to waste.
