A question to the home brewers in the Phoenix area. Where is your preferred place to conduct fermenting. With the 100 plus temps around the corner, what's your ideal place?

I'm not from Phoenix, but I'm in Texas and the 100F temps aren't too far away for us either. Making Belgians 8-9 months a year gets boring, so I got a 4.4 cu.ft. Frigidaire fridge and Thomson temperature controller. I took the freezer section out of the fridge and my 7.9 gallon buckets fit just fine, one at a time. I went with this fridge because of space issues. If I had the space, I would have gone with something larger to fit more fermentors. I tried swamp coolers, but it just didn't work out. I still had wild temperature swings. My beer got considerably better once I started really controllilng my fermentation temperature with this setup.

Texas here. With the summer heat approaching, there is no "ideal place" unless you keep your home thermostat at 68* or cooler. In the summer, mine's at 75.

Craigslist freezer or fridge. STC-1000 dual temp controller. Spent $100 total. Plus, I get to tweak my fermentations and lager if I desire. Life is good.
