Default fermentation interruptus

Hi

I am receiving a visit in 2 days and I have to move the beer(fermentor) which has been already 4 weeks in the fermentor. Could I move the fermentor for a week to a colder place and then put it into bottles after that week or that change for a week to a colder place could affect the beer?

If it's been in the fermenter 4 weeks already, fermentation should be virtually done and what's happening now is just conditioning. So a minor change in temperature for a week isn't going to hurt anything. But I'd like to know how much cooler you are talking about. Are we talking a few degrees C, or more like 20°C to 5°C?

Shouldn't cause any issues. Except maybe clearer beer...

I don't think that'll hurt anything at all. It will basically give you the equivalent of a cold crash which will result in clearer beer as smokinj said.
