I am about to brew oatmeal stout from Palmer's how to brew. There the beta glucan rest is suggested, so if i get the things correct, it's only because of the oats, so is it ok if tako oats mix with 0.5 kg of base malt and do beta glucan rest and after mix with the main mash?
