Venture Bros themed kegerator build (90% complete)

full disclosure. I am not (yet) a homebrewer. My old kegerator died and I was looking for inspiration for my new build. Found the site because of the epic "show us your kegerator" thread. Beautiful work. Looked thru all 500+ pages :rockin:

Here it is @ 95% Just got the vinyl done as well as a new CO2 mount my buddy fabbed up






Got the fridge free from a cowoker. Fridge is a GE. Not sure the year but looks laste 50's early 60s. (Saw 2 other guys with the same fridge in the aforementioned epic thread)
It was pretty rough.


Decided to go with a Venture Brothers theme.

Sanded her down.

Plastidipped it matte black.

Bottom of the fridge was cracked. Replaced it with some diamond plate.

Made up some Venture industries logos for the outside and for the freezer door.

Added some red LEDs behind and underneath.

Cut and painted a piece of plexi for the inside of the door with the "Dr. Killinger" logo



On the to do list.
Rebend/mount air line conduit.

Are you going to install a tap or use a picnic tap?

Where's the speed suit?

I mean come on - you NEED a speed suit, that pretty much seals the science deal, here.

Hahahah! That is fan-freaking-tastic! Looove The Venture Brothers! You should get a tap handle shaped like helper and have an audio clip of Dr. Orpheus play ever time a keg kicks or you are out of co2. Ahhh, the ideas are flooding at me. You at least have to incorporate an image of Brock F*cking Samson on there somewhere.

This is fantastic.

I do have a blue jumpsuit that I use when Im working on the car. All I need is a Venture Industries logo patch and a "Rusty" name tag! How did I never put this together!
