Does storage temperature affect bottle carbonation time? I have a Golden Ale and a Velvet Stout both wen through fermentation process no problem. I bottled the stout a week before the Ale but both don't really have much carbonation. I used some sugar pellets, which I have used before with no issues. Should I pitch some more yeast into the bottled beers? Or should I move them out of the garage where it is in the 40-50 F*. They have been bottled 2 weeks for the Ale( high alcohol content) & 3 weeks for the stout(4.5%). The ale seems to have more carbonation than the stout. But it is barely noticeable in both.

For try to move them to a warmer spot (70f or so). It greatly speed up the process. Your beer should have plenty of yeast no need to add.
