Hi all,
Made my first batch of apple cider from a vinoka kit and is in the fridge cold crashing now. I wanted to try sweetening with frozen apple concentrate, but damned if I can find any frozen concentrate. I live in Campbell River, Vancouver Island, and I have checked every store here, nada. I was going to use truvia, but changed my mind to the apple concentrate, but that idea seems to be scrubbed.

Should i just go with my original idea of truvia. How much apple flavor will there be using just truvia? Right now it is very dry/tart, and no apple flavor that i can taste.

I was originally going to make an apple/lime cider, but the additive lime syrup was nearly as much as the kit itself, so cheapness won out and i didnt get it.I have seen frozen limeade at the grocery store, would that work, or is it not sweet enough.

I will be kegging/sorbating/bottling.

Thank you
Barney
