I started the mead on 10/13/1. Friday I looked at it and I noticed that a large part of the chocolate has settled to the bottom if the carboy.

Should I gently swirl the liquid to mix it back in or just leave it as is?

I started a chocolate mead last night, so I'm interested in seeing the answer to this in car I run into the same thing...

What recipe did you use?
I did a three gallon batch with 10 pounds of honey and 8 ounces of Hershey's cocoa... And I lost what seems like a lot of the chocolate because I didn't have a blue off tube at first... I might add more cocoa after fermentation...

I don't know the OG, buddies showed up, we started drinking. I think I may have taken a reading, but I def didn't write it down.
I think I need to add more cocoa...
