Hello there,
My name is Katie and I currently reside near Lawrence, KS. I used to live in Madison, WI and can proudly say I turned 21 in that city only to be spoiled by the New Glarus Brewery. I try to make it up to Wisconsin at LEAST twice a year these days to stock up and bring back my beloved brews and cheese back home to share with my friends and family.
My fiance and I recently got a beginner's brew kit and have just bottled our first cream ale tonight. I am waiting for a spotted cow clone to cool down before I start adding the yeast and whatnot. I'm really hoping to learn a lot from these experiences and turn brewing beer into a big hobby that we can enjoy and get creative with once we're more comfortable with the lingo and the overall process.
I'm looking forward to finding gems on this site as well!
