Hope this hasn't been asked to many times, I am location the positions on my Kettles to weld the 1/2" couplers, they are 1.000" round , question is how far off the bottom is the average most go?
I came up with 2.250" Top (1.750" centered) up from the bottom of the kettle, leaving 1.250" clearance, I will be using a pick up tube.
