You may have drilled the hole too large. Here is a chart for reference.

This is wide open, no heat shields, orifice drill to 3/32, air shutter wide open as well...Thoughts, good, bad?

You can also try dialing down the pressure on the gas valve slightly. That will change the air fuel mixture.

Yeah I tried that , it doesn't seem to do much.
