Hey friends! I live in the Brentwood area and want to start kegging. Anyone have spare kegging equipment or recommendations for me? Of course I'm willing to drop some bills, but I'm also in no hurry and am willing to wait for a good deal! Any advice on getting started would additionally be welcome.

craigslist is your friend. I found my rig for $300, i would have spent over $800 if i went new. Good luck!

Craigslist for a used chest freezer, around $50. A couple 2x6's to build a collar, $10. I got my shank, faucet, tank and stuff from beverage factory for just over $100. One keg is fine but 2 is better, scour the web for used kegs for less than $50 each. You can be in business for about $300.
