Moving to Santa Barbara

I am moving from the east coast to Santa Barbara, CA after the holidays. Does anyone know what the LHBS situation is around there? Also - any good beer establishments I should know about?

Looking forward to California Beer!!

Isnt really much in the way of LHBS places the closest decent place i have found with a good selection is in San luis Obispo a place called Docs cellar. When you get to SB let me know i havent been able to find many home brewers in this area.

I'm get my stuff from Surf Brew in Ventura. It's a brewery and has homebrewing supplies.

It's about 30mins south of Santa Barbra

A year late but I use Valley Brewers up in Solvang. Not a bad drive from SB plus it is an excuse to go to Figueroa Mountain Brewing, love their stout.

The guy who runs the brewery at Santa Barbara Brewing Co is a BJCP Grand Master IV.
