Ok--so the tea has been fermenting for almost a week--the tea leaves that remained in the brew seen to have risen up to the top of the scoby and they look creamy white-ish.
I don't think it's mold but it is hard to tell--it isn't fuzzy--at least from out side the jar it looks ok....
Otherwise, the smell is nice and fermenty, and I may try to bottle it up tomorrow.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
Is it going to be ok to drink??

I've never made it with loose leaf, just bagged tea. I'd guess it'll be fine with a little leaf in the scoby.
