Coopers Australian lager two weeks in primary fermenter FG came all way the down correctly been bottled a week , good colour and carbonation but has a distinctive yeast taste, done this kit a few times with no problems any suggestions

I would imagine that the yeasty taste is from not removing the yeast from suspension before bottling. I understand this kit is a lager brewed with ale yeast, so perhaps leaving it on the yeast cake would have cleared up any off-flavors.
