I'm not sure what this beer would be classified as I wanted to make an ipa but I'm not sure if it's a double.

Batch size 5 gallons
16# 2-row
.50# victory
.50# carapils
.50# crystal 120
10 oz corn sugar
Mash temp 151 for 60 mins
Hopped the mash with .50 oz glacier .50 oz Columbus

1.00 oz Columbus [16.1%] (60 mins)
1.00 oz Columbus [16.1%] (30 mins)
2.00 oz glacier [5.1%] (15 mins)
2.00 oz centennial [8.7%] (15 mins)
Dry hop
2.00 oz simcoe [12.9%]
2.00 oz glacier [5.1%]
2.00 oz centennial [8.7%]
2.00 oz chinook [12.4%]
Yeast WL001
starting gravity 1.078
I haven't dry hopped yet is that too much hops or a bad combo

So I won't know until I get the final gravity reading the yeast started off kinda slow it took 12 hours to start

8 oz of dry hopping is quite a bit. Some may disagree here, but I'd cut it down to 2 oz, maybe an oz of simcoe and an oz of centennial. Brewing is all about experimentation, so if you want to rock out 8 oz's, good luck and let me know how it turns out!

I was trying to make a hop bomb maybe I'll take it back to 4.00 oz or cut out the chinook, I just got 6# of hops so I'm feeling hop crazy prolly shouldn't go overboard
