I am preparing to do my first all-grain brew, and I was woundering if I needed to use a yeast starter? I have never use one and not sure how to make one or how long it take to be ready. Any advise?

I usually do 2 cups of water to 1/2 cup of DME. Boil for 10 min and pitch at pitching temps. I do this 24 hrs pre brew day, and of course all things being used are sanitized. You can use a piece of tinfoil to cover what ever you put your starter in too.

**Note this is for liquid yeast**
