I have batch in primary now that I will dry hop in secondary. I read some posts that state to put the hops in without puting them in a bag. They state to put a muslin bag over the siphoner tip when you transfer. I see that this will keep the hop leaves out of the bottleing bucket but wont it also keep the yeast out that you need to carbonate the brew in the bottle? I am thinking about this because I don't like the yeast sediment that ends up in my bottles.
If enough yeast gets through the screen to sufficiently carbonate in the boottle all is well!

Yeast are microscopic, so they can go right through any type of hops bag that you'll be using on the siphon. The only thing that would filter them out is a very small (like under 2 micron?) filter.
