What are the big differences between German and American Bocks?

don't really know what an american bock is, but there are different styles of bock itself.

check out the BJCP guidelines

Yeah, I didn't know there was an American Bock either. If there is, I don't think I'd want to try it. German bocks are very tasty, malty, full-bodied brews. Make one when you get the chance.
