Well, after reading about everyone's luck on Craig's list, I scored two used beer kegs from a local fella for the price of two sixers of homebrew. One is in better shape than the other, but both are usable. I already have the valve and dip tube out of one to begin working on it. SWEET!:ban:
 
I just tried it on my cheapo turkey fryer and it fits perfectly. I need to get the old dremmel out and start at cutting out the lid.
