Do the legs get hot on the Bayou Classic sp-10?
I would like to brew on the deck but if they legs get hot I think the driveway might be the better move.
Is using one of these things on a wooden deck a very bad idea or am I just being too cautious?
Bottled 3/7: Cream Ale
Fermenting 3/7: Belgian Ale
On Deck: Imperial Stout
The legs don't get hot, but a boil over can stain your deck it happened to me but after about 3 months it mostly faded away.
My rig is made of wood and I have the SQ-14 burner on it with no problems.
The boil overs will be a mess though.
good to know. Thank you for the info and happy brewing!
