Default hop blocker

does anyone have a solution for blocking whole hops in a keggle with a side pickup.Only thing I can think of is false bottom with center pickup.

I've seen people use these with some success - just tucked around the pickup tube. I have not tried my self and don't know how in the hell you would clean it afterward:

(Stainless Steel Scour Pad - in case the pic is gone at some point)

That, or just use a hop sock/sack. There's a few people on here that have rigged up paint straining bags to PVC collars to rest on the lip of the keggle.

You can use a FB with a side pickup, you can cover the side pick up with a SS colander or a Bazooka screen (or its replacement). You can attached a SS braid to the pick up, etc.

I use FB with leaf hops and it works!

Still rolling pennies for a Jaybird FB. Not sure which one yet.
