Default Anybody put wort liquid in a demijohn?

I was thinking about doing double batches in the MLT, then using something as an intermediate holding tank while I boil down in two 5.5 gallon batches. I was wondering if anybody has put hot wort into a demijohn?

I have an opportunity to grab some demijohns for $20cdn, which is pretty cheap.

Don't do it!!!
It'll stress the glass an possible shatter. Use a plastic pail, mush safer and much cheaper!.

Plastic buckets should be even cheaper and less dangerous.

Yeah, well we're talking Nova Scotia here - I can almost guarantee that any type of food grade plastic bucket that will hold 14 gallons will cost a lot more than $20. I was thinking about poly garbage cans, but I don't want any weird tastes....

There's a thread around here someplace about some foodgrade liners you could line your trash cans with. I'm too lazy to find it, but I believe its called "turn anyrging into a fermrnter" or something like that.
