Zinc plated parts

I've seen a few threads about this but not the specific answer... If I'm using zinc plated parts for a hop spider and help hold my keggle lid am I at risk for whatever terrible things happen when you ingest the toxins? Or am I OK because they are not in direct contact with the beer?

If you keep the zink out of the beer It will not jump of and slide in on its own
