I've been using a pretty accurate floating thermometer, but I'm thinking I need a waterproof digital one. It would make my life so much easier! So, what's your favorite model (short of a pot-installed brewmometer)?

It is pricey, but I like the fact that it is completely watertight. You could drop the whole thing into your wort and it would continue working. Trust me, I've done it. I've used it on about 10 batches since then and it works fine. I have a touchless infrared thermo that I use for my fermenters and they are both spot on.aseelye said:thanks hopfan, looks a bit expensive, but hopefully this one will be durable and not die in 20 minutes![]()
