Yeast starter

Do i need to boil my yeast starter for 5 to 15 minutes really? Or once it hits the point where the hot break erupes out of my 2000 ml flaskero is that good enough. I wanna boil the wort in the flask so theres no yransfering going on. Can someone help

I boil for about 30 seconds. No troubles yet.
