I will be starting my first batch (a hefeweizen) in a couple hours. I prepared a yeast starter yesterday and am seeing some bubbles from it :D, no krausen, but I am hearing thats not a big deal. I was wondering if when I pitch the starter in do I want to shake it up first, or just pour it in?

Give it a quick shake to mix it up. Krausen is not neccesary as the yeast replicates its self before krausening takes place.
