Yeast Sight Glass Location

I just bought a new Ss Brew Tech 7 Gal BME fermenter and one of the accessories is a sight glass. Where do you place it? Would you put it directly below the conical fermenter before the elbow and butterfly valve or after the elbow and before the butterfly value?

My thought is to place it after the elbow and before the butterfly valve so you can see where to stop dumping the trub?

I have mine right below the cone, but before the elbow and butterfly valve.

I don't harvest yeast though, so if you want to do that, you'd have to change your placement.
