Hey guys
Was wondering if there is an ideal yeast in ounces to gallon on liquid equation to know the right amount to pitch.
I am doing one gallon batches of different brews and would like to make sure I am pitching the right amounts - this includes a cider too.
Does this vary by yeast type too? Also does the packaging make a difference in the amount to pitch. (Slap pack vs dry)
Also, is it true you can reuse your yeast by reserving it and adding it into the same recipe different batch?
Thanks!
