some friends and i have decided to escape the wetness of western washington to explore the wineries of the Yakima Valley this weekend (Labor Day 2010).
I was curious if any of you have any suggestions on what to hit up. we're staying in Yak but plan on driving a fair amount to enjoy some wine tasting, but we're (well, the two of us that arent gluten-intollerant) interested in seeing some hop farms up close. i looked for info about tours on the hopsdirect and hopunion websites but came up empty-handed.
any help?
