Here is my next recipe, I just wanted to see what everyone thought.

Black Patent (US) 1.00 lb, Grain, Mashed
Flaked Oats 2.10 lb, Adjunct, Mashed
Honey 1.50 lb, Sugar, Other
Maris Otter Malt 8.00 lb, Grain, Mashed
Munich (US) 2.00 lb, Grain, Mashed

Amarillo 1.00 oz, Pellet, 0 minutes
Centennial 0.50 oz, Pellet, 60 minutes
Centennial 0.50 oz, Pellet, 10 minutes
Centennial 1.00 oz, Pellet, 20 minutes
Centennial 1.00 oz, Pellet, 30 minutes

American Ale yeast 1.00 unit, Yeast,
Irish Moss 1.00 unit, Fining,

Recipe Notes:
1.5 qts mash water per Lb
add honey at 10 min to go.
 
The recipe looks pretty good to me, although I'd suggest swapping out the black patent for chocolate malt (and dropping the amount to ~.5-.75 lbs). As it stands you are more in stout/porter territory than brown ale. Otherwise I like the lack of crystal malt, and I think the oats and honey are good additions. Hope it turns out well.
 
It is actually a Breiss black malt @500 SRM i guess that is the same as Black Patent??? I will take it down to around .5lbs Thanks for the replies. hope to brew this weekend and i will update later.
