Yikes! My American Ale Wyeast pack burst sometime earlier tonight. I just noticed it, and am half way through the boil of my 5g batch ... does anyone think the fact the yeast may have been exposed to air for a few hours (albeit a VERY small hole, just enough for pressure to escape) will harm the outcome of this batch??

Oh no!

yea, if it was that active, there was plenty of co2 going out of it to keep anything from coming in.
