Hey guys,

I smacked my pack yesterday and waited about six hours before I pitched it. The pack did swell up quite a bit so I was pretty sure it was ready to pitch.

I put it in at Approx 69F wort. The package gives me a range of 60F to 72F. The fermenter temp is around 72F to 74F Right now.

I woke up this morning and checked the fermenter and nothing has happened.

Am I jumping the gun and just being impatient? I have never waited this long to see results and I am a little worried.

If it happens the yeast was not viable what would I do?

(Add a dry packet of yeast or no?)

Any help would be appreciated. THANKS :ban:
