No. That would be ~300 billion viable cells. It would however, be much cheaper to make a starter with 1.
 
ok kool i already have the 3 packs but i will look into doing a starter next time and i really appreciate the quick replies.
 
I would make a starter or pitch onto a cake, or use harvested yeast. But I would also use US-05 (same strain) if you're not going to make a starter...usually cheaper.

Yep, using the dry version of the same strain works just as well. I used 2 sachets of US-05 in my last IIPA. (1.080-1.014)
