Heck, we could sink to his level and play the same way he did over here. How about going on as USMcruzisaf**? Not that I would, but it would be very funny indeed.

Shall we take bets on how long until he gets banned over there as well?

I did note on one of the posts someone called him a 'd!ck' like Loop did on this site. Amazing coincidence.
People seem to be able to search deep into our marine friend's psyche and describe him so succinctly........;)

I'd dry the dog poop before sending it. The weight is really not optimal for shipping. I would suggest sending a small dog with a lot os food in a small crate. this will give you the desired effect.

Entertainment my Ass.

I've met met some stupid grunts before (no offense)

But he's right (about Heavy Metal Toxicity with regards (french word) to Aluminum).

Too drunk right now but I have studied Heavy Metal Toxins and Excitotoxins with compassion.

Aluminum is bad $hit and it DOES contribute to Alzheimers disease.

Yeah ! Iron Maiden was badass too ! Caused deafness in some subjects.

Don't even get me started on Motorhead.:rockin:

Whoa, freaky. I was just looking at that thread on NB just this morning and lol'ing over our favorite marine's idiocy. Funny thing, I thought "I wonder what they'd think of this thread over at HB?" this morning, I guess I found out. BTW, the thread isn't gone, I just saw it on the second page of the General Forum.

My favorite quote from that thread: "So I'm getting these off flavors from my lead brewpot, and headaches too, how would one season it? I was thinking maybe boil some Draino in it."

Yes, bleach. Not just any bleach, however. Semper Fi brand bleach, the official bleach of Mensa and the aluminum pot society.

That my friend, is going to have to be my new sig. :D

have y'all read the one about how he says Ray Daniels is a strictly extract brewer?
and that 'Designing great beers' is all about extract beers only?

since ive yet to get said book in question im not able to impugn his remarks...(but i have a strong suspician he is wrong)

Its not that i love an argument (wait did i say that?) but i really want to get that book, and dont want an all extract reference book...

it's not an ALL EXTRACT reference. I've only really read the chapters on various styles and how to form a recipe, and there is NO mention of extract other than when he shows recipe breakdowns for contest winners. These same charts that show the use of extract, also show the use of base malt.

I do not find the book to be extract-centric in ANY way at all.

cool...usmcGomerPyle did mention something about "he won all these awards using only extract" or something like that, it sounded like he was talking out of ass...

I honestly can't say whether or not that is true. I never read the "about the author" or introduction stuff in the book, and jumped straight to the meat and potatoes. The meat and potatoes certainly does not focus on extract in any way.

I'd take a look at my book to see if the awards thing is true, but the book is out on loan right now and was last spotted in Florida.
