I'm thinking about moving my operation outdoors - would this be a good setup?

I was going to remark on removable legs making the stand flimsy and unstable. If I got one similar I would definately weld the legs to stiffen the whole thing as much as possible. I like the high pressure regulators and burners especially the one with out the safety one hour shut off. Just about every cooker you find has that confounded safety system built in and it is a PITA to remove safely. Just some thoughts from an old crippled welder.

I purchased the other bayou classic and love it. There was a problem when it came. The regulator screwed to tight into the burner, not allowing the air damper to work. I called and they sent a new burner out. Heats up like a champ.

I have a burner with detachable legs its great it sits on shelf when not in use (legs off) and the burner assembly sits on a platform. The detachable legs you than use a set screw to stabalize the burner in the legs very sturdy no problems so far.

if you have a way to tap to NG line outside i recommend this one http://www.cpapc.com/23-Tip-Round-Nozzle-Jet-Burner-natural-gas-P469C0.aspx
yes you still need to organize stand for it and depends on your NG line you may have to plug some nozzles but it will pay for it self in 3 brew sessions cuz price of NG is nothing when compared to propane, also no hassles with running out of propane ect

I would be wary of the detachable legs. I own and prefer this one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009JXYQ4/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

I also own this bad boy, its a freakin' beast! The only problem with it is that it has no wind guard, but people here have built solutions to that.

+1 to all that. The Sq14 is amazing. Never had any problems needing a wind guard though. Done 10 gallon batches with 15 gallon boils on it and I swear it will boil anything. Used it on Christmas day to deep fry a turkey too. Power is one thing it does not lack
