Hi everyone my name is Adam:fro:
I discovered homebrewing a couple months ago and I enjoy it a lot.I brew as much as I can(1-2/week)and started all-grain 2 weeks ago when I realized it was possible.It was a steam beer kit with all the instruction a beginner needs.I was fascinated and had a lot of fun.Everything went well.
Now ive been looking at a lot of recipes so I can learn to make my own.It was hard to choose cause I really like ALL kinds of beer.I decided to do an English pale ale and a Witbier.Obviously I want something good and tasty.
I ordered my grains and received them today, I would like to brew one on saturday and one on sunday or next saturday if I don't have the chance.
I would like to have tips on the brewing process such as the amount of water for the weight of grains I have,mash temperature,time,hop schedule.....Any help will be very appreciated, ive been reading the forums a lot and there's real experts in here.
Here's what I have,
English pale ale;
-10p of 2-row
-1p of caramel 60
-1p of caramel 120
-hops: 2 oz of East kent(uk),1oz of Fuggles
-safale s-04 dry ale yeast
-Irish moss
Wheat beer;
-6p of pilsnen
-4p of wheat malt
-2oz of Hallertau
-wheatbeer yeast danstar munich
-irish moss
Big mash tun cooler,50L pot and a wort chiller
I would;
-mash at 155 for 60min.
-Boil for 60 min. adding hops
Thank you for your help and have and happy Brewing!!!:rockin:
