I've spent all day brewing a hefe, decoction and all. I just started cooling my wort and the tube blew off and sprayed water into the wort. Should I even bother to continue or just pitch it? I have the kettle back on the burner to boil the water that got sprayed in just in case I can save it.

No clue what the professionals are going to tell you; but, if it were me, I'd boil it back down to my target volume and carry on and see what happens. Good luck.

I think that's what in going to do. Think I should throw a bit of a campden tablet in there too?

I think you're probably alright. I had a similar situation happen to me and the beer turned out perfectly fine. How much water are you talking about?

I would guess about half a gallon or more. I'm gonna boil it for 30 minutes and continue as normal. Was going perfect until now too.
