My two container hops have been growing very well for me in the spot where I put them. They get about 6 hours of sun on the main leaves and bines, although the new growth is growing into a spot that has less sun. The new growth is of course the growth with the hop buds and is getting about 5 hours of sun. I know that the hops require a minimum of 6 hours of sun, but is it more important to get the most sun on the leaves or on the hops?
