Went to the new Spanish Peaks website tonight, I see that they have started making Black Dog again. Since this was the beer that got me into homebrewing back in 1991, I thought I would try to make something similar. Their website gives the following clues.
"A deep amber ale with a pleasant hop aroma, it has layers of malty flavors that give it a complex and well balanced taste. A substantial and pleasant ale that retains a high level of drinkability"
OG- 3.2
ABV- 5.2
Malts- Munich, caramel 40, caramel 80, chocolate
Hops - Centennial, Northern Brewer, Chinook
IBU- 36"
So, heres my stab at it......Please give me your opinions
