I have been brewing in my shed for a while now. I recently discovered that my sister in laws mom is a boss at a local manufacturer...what do they make you ask...foam insulation.. underlayments .. all sorts of stuff. I have access to all of the scrap insulation I can haul SOOO we have been insulating the brew shed to make winter brewing ( and summer once the AC is installed) more enjoyable. The issue I am worrying about is that previously the shed was so open that I never worried about CO2 or moisture. Now it SHOULD be pretty tightly closed up. It is a 12x16 and has a very high ceiling but I am still concerned. Do you guys think I need to install a hood and fans and vent through the roof? OR maybe a couple of fans behind the brewstand blowing out through louvers? I am not concerned with the moisture for the insulation ( this stuff is moisture proof. I have a pile of it and water just puddles up on it. But I am worried with the plywood walls but again mainly CO2... Any suggestions?

Hook a mask up to your O2 tank? Seriously though I just wanted to mention that mice love insulation. Make sure you plug any holes. It's taken me 2 years to get all the snakes and mice out ta the garage after I insulated.

If it was me, I'd install a hood and vent.

You never know about the fumes from your burner and because of that, it's better to play it safe. Plus during your boil, a hood would help send a lot of the moisture outside.

A vent would help with any moisture that's left in the shed and make sure you don't run into issues with mold etc..

Plus if your sealing it up, moisture that was able to escape before, might not be able too going forward.

the more I do the more I think of to do. all painted.. getting ready to paint the floor.. decided to install AC for summer brewing....or build a deck to roll the rig out on. Wife is being 100% supportive of whatever I want to do...... somethings up lol.
