We're watching a couple of dogs this week, their owners take ours in when we're out of town. Tonight the one dog started freaking out like the world was ending at 4 am. After searching the house I heard the noise in my beer "cellar" (closet) - my first near fermentation explosion. I think I saved it just in time, I couldn't believe how convex the lid was and still hanging on. Anyway.. is this even possible on a medium to low grav brew? Brewing an American Wheat, details of the brew:
5lbs Wheat malt
3lbs 2-Row
3lbs Pilsner
Fermented between 70-71
470ml yeast starter for 18 hours on a stir plate
OG 1.054
