I purchased an Power Grind motor recently. Just want to make sure I am following the directions correctly.

This is what is included:

Some of the numbers are unreadable, but the wires are labeled:

1-Black
2-Brown
3-Blue
4-Grey

There is also an unnumbered green/yellow.

I assume:

Green/yellow goes to ground on my switch, same for green from power source
Black (from power source) goes to the switch ( near the off position)
Black and either Brown or Blue go the switch near the on position

White (from power source) is spliced with Grey and either Brown or Blue

I have been using a cordless drill, to grind the grain I set the drill to the position that would remove the screw. Does this mean I use the Direction B?

I would think either direction of rotation would work. The bottom of the first diagram is all you should need to make the proper connections as long as you are not using a switch to reverse rotation.

The second diagram seems to say that you should have a switch to control the motor regardless of rotation.

Yes, green/yellow is equipment ground. I think you have the connections figured out.

You won't know the direction of rotation until you hook it up and give it a spin. If it is wrong, reverse the wiring.
