I've been kicking around the idea of developing a winter wheat for Christmas. Well after trying Bell's Winter White Ale last weekend, I've decided I definitely need to pursue this. I've started with Campfire Brewing's Winter Wheat recipe as a base. The recipe calls for Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove and Blue Agave Nectar. The problem is I have NO idea how much, and no experience spicing a beer. I plan to lower the ABV a little bit down to about 5-5.4% and scale it back to a 5 gal recipe.

Another thought I've been wrestling with is how to make an Oatmeal Wheat beer? Essentially achieving that Creamy oatmeal mouth feel with the spiced citrus. Thought? I'm totally fine with butchering this recipe, it was just a starting point as I've never had anything from Campfire.
