I'd love a little help on this. I've got a 14# extension cord to use for the splicing to my digital a419 controller.

The controller has an input side 240 | com | 120.
And the output side NC | C | NO.

The diagram looks like hmm... Tough to say. Live line to the 120 then the 120 bridges to C and then the NO go's back out of the box. Neutral line to COM.

I don't remember what the standard colors for the wires are once I cut the extension cord open.

One last thing. Whats the better setting for the jumper for cooling.

There was a site with a decent diagram, but I guess its down now so I'm sorta stuck.

Standard Wire Colors - Black - hot, White - Neutral, Green - Ground

Johnson PDF Here's a PDF to download - don't know which model you have, but it looks like what you're describing.

Do you have an electrician friend anywhere? Do you know somebody who knows an electrician that would trade a simple job for a bottle or two of homebrew?

While this is basic stuff, I'm a bit hesitant to describe in detail - I don't want you hurt or burning down your house...(the question about standard colors tells me you don't wire much of anything...so I'm recommending the friend route).

good luck.

Thanks for the help, I ended up doing a google image search trying to find a diagram(who knew you could image search for things not related to porn?) Anyway I found what I was looking for at another forum. Heres the link. I just left the jumper on the default position and I didn't get a clamp to fit that bung hole the wires run through. I'll just be careful for a day or two and get the clamp later.
