I made a banana pear batch Saturday night the fermentation started quick and violently. Last night I went to check on it I brew in buckets the fruit had filled and stopped up the air lock. The lid was bowed up and had cracked along a seem. I pulled it out tryed to change lids my other lid split so I did a patch on the busted on. Put it back till I could get a new lid today. I haven't seen any airlock activity since last night. I know that's not a sign but it was violent and now nothing. So here's my questions if its become contaminated can I reboil everything in attempt to salvage what I have. I didn't add as much sugar as I normally do hoped the fruit would cover what i didn't add. Can I pitch more sugar now? Or am I screwed

A 24hr fermentation? Idk what the gravity is my hydrometer broke recently. I haven't felt up to ordering a new one only one I can find locally is one for a aquarium.
