Anybody brew this kit? I picked it up the other day at the local homebrew store, and can't wait to get started. I've been brewing beer for a couple of years, and this will be my first wine :mug:

I really like the taste of a good zin. I prefer a big bodied (not too dry) red wine, like zin's are usually perfect in my book.

What kind of ABV and dryness can I expect out of this kit? Thanks!

No, but I'd be interested in the results. One of the reasons I drifted away from wine was white "zinfandels". Got so you couldn't get a real one.

At the brewing store my daughter was waving me over to that same kit... We all like a good Zin. Since I am very new to brewing anything at all, I have not tried any wine kit yet. Let us know how you like it. Might have to get one for myself.

I have never made that particular kit but every Wine Expert Estate Series kit I have made were great. Expect for it to be a couple years for this wine to reach it's full potential regardless of what Wine Expert says though. You should end up with a medium bodied, dry wine. ABV should be around 12-13% preferably on the lower side allowing the full flavor potential of the wine to come forward.
