Will splash raking cause

I had some wine I just could not get the gas out so I splashed racked it to carboys 3 times. It had already had kmeta and sorbate and bentonite added when I discovered all the co2. Well,that did the trick in getting rid of the co2.

Question is do I need to worry about oxidation? Is there any harm in doing this? I did add another pinch of kmeta to each carboy.

You'll be fine. The k-meta will have kept it from oxidizing.

hehe oxygen..

all sorts of things oxidize, metals, blood, fruit, and even clothing. its just natural chemistry that has the ability/chance to add 'off' flavors from prolonged, or significant exposure.
