For the most part the British are OK with me,we have the same sense of humor. However, their laws are a little strange. They have a liability law that is just crazy. Example, If you insult someone and defame him/her that person can sue you. Nothing strange. Now get this in The UK, if say an American slanders someone from France and a person from The UK hears it and the person from France can prove that a person in the UK heard it, the person from France can sue the American in a UK court. Roman Polanski sucessfully sued someone in a UK court this way. I know we have stange laws in our country but this one is a bit much.

I just realised!!!

UK Drinking age 18
US Drinking age 21

UK age of consent 16
US Age of consent 18

WTF am I doing here!!??? .........Oh yes, I'm old and it's not relevant for me any more. :(

Carry on. :)

The UK is better then the US because they graciously agreed to take Madonna from us. We will never forget this sacrifice and we deeply apologise for all the brain damage she caused.

Hey, would you guys take Tom Cruise too?

Wrong. In SC and UT the consent age is 7. But then, of course, you will get executed for drinking beer on Sunday.

cricket.

that should end the debate, and prove how ridiculous the UK is ;)

When I came to the US I tried really hard to get into Baseball, being the number one sport here and all. I had to give up in the end because it was way too similar and as dull as cricket. Both sports involve hours of one guy throwing a ball at another guy who usually misses the darn thing or plays some kind of tactical thing that is just as dull to watch.

UK football (i'm assuming you mean "soccer") is tougher that american football? you're insane.

I have yet to see anyone break their femur playing football but I have seen it twice while playing soccer.

In case you forgot your femur is your thigh bone. Its the largest bone in your body and also one of the two strongest. It ties with one of the bones in your skull.

yea i've seen it twice while playing high school and college.

usa vs uk, boils down to this: child pornography is illegal in the us. NOT in the uk. BOOSH *********s...

Actually it just recently got lowered from 14 to 16. So we now share the lowest consent age with ID and HA.
But seriously, I friggin hate the sunday and late night rules.

A football playing buddy of mine almost bled to death on the field from a compound femur break.

He still has a slight limp.

Thank God for those bored looking Paramedic/EMTs that sit off to one side of the field!

Edit: The UK gave us E. Kent Goldings, that's pretty significant!
