I brewed a pumkin ale a few days ago. The wert smelled and tasted amazing with spice and cinnamon. 3 days later during rigorous fermentation it now smells like a can of spaghetti os or tomato juice. Is this normal what's going on? I wanted to nail a pumkin brew finally maybe I'm overthinking it but this smell is odd.

Be patient. Don’t ever taste a beer 3 days into fermentation, come back in two weeks when it’s ready to bottle.

A lot of strange things happen during fermentation, things you probably don’t want to taste or smell. Or quite frankly look at unless you are properly prepared.
